YAG laser

Dr. Nield uses the YAG laser predominantly  to reduce the appearance of facial and leg veins. Small but noticeable blue veins around the eyes known as periorbital reticular veins can respond nicely to a series of Yag Laser treatments. Blue vascular spots can develop on the lip, these are called venous lakes and also respond to Yag laser treatments. Certain sized leg veins can be treated with the Yag laser.

Mild facial wrinkles and surface scars can also be reduced with repeated treatments of the Yag laser. Such treatments are usually combined with photofacials.

The YAG laser is an incredibly precise tool that allows Dr. Nield to remove veins and angiomas without damaging the healthy surrounding tissue. The YAG Laser can also stimulate collagen production .After 4 to 5 treatments, facial lines will have a reduced appearance.

Laser treatments have a number of benefits, including a reduced risk of infection, less scarring, precise control, and safe, effective treatments that result in very little downtime.
